Job summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and autonomous Practice Nurse to work 8 sessions per week (across 4 days). You will be supported by an established team of GPs, nurses, HCAs, and administrative staff, and play a vital role in delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality care to our patients.

Main duties of the job

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive clinical assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients presenting with both acute and chronic conditions.
  • Undertake telephone and face-to-face consultations.
  • Support the management of long-term health conditions.
  • Contribute to QOF, enhanced services, and practice development initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider clinical team and PCN to deliver patient-centered care.
  • Assist with oversight and development of our current nursing team.

  • Significant experience working in a primary care or urgent care setting is very desirable.
  • Confident in managing a wide range of presentations autonomously.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and organisational skills.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and high-quality patient care.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Enhanced DBS check required.
  • Previous management experience is not essential.
