Training practice
West Wirral Group Practice is a training practice with three “trainers” and up to three registrars at any one time. Registrars are fully qualified doctors who have worked in hospital medicine and have chosen a career in General Practice.
They are supervised by their trainer and are encouraged at all times to seek advice when required from the practice partners.
GP net earnings
All GP practices are required to declare the mean earnings for GPs working to deliver NHS services to patients at each practice.
The average pay for GPs working in West Wirral Group Practice in the last financial year was £52,770 before tax and National Insurance. This is for 3 full time GPs, 10 part time GPs and 5 locum GPs who worked in the practice for more than six months.
