Urine Samples

Most straight forward urinary tract infections can be treated at your local pharmacy through the Pharmacy First Pathway.

Inclusion:

  • Females
  • Aged between 16-64
  • Suspected lower UTI

Exclusions:

  • Male
  • <16 or >64
  • Pregnant
  • Breastfeeding
  • Recurrent UTI (2 in last 6 months or 3 in last 12 months)
  • Catheter
  • Type1 or 2 Diabetic
  • Blood in urine

For any UTI symptoms that fall with the exclusion criteria please submit on online consultation via Patchs or call 0151 909 2474 and a member of the reception team will be able to assist you.
